French (fr) -> English (en)
One flag, one translation
Add a flag emoji under any message to read it in that language. Only you see the result, the chat stays clean.

Japanese (ja) -> English (en)
Link channels with mirrors

Pick the method that fits
Use one, or combine them. Everything is configurable from the dashboard, no command required.
Channel translation
Translate every message of a channel into another language, with the author's name and avatar.
Role and category translation
Translate everything a role writes, or a whole category of channels, with one rule.
Mirrors
Link channels, each in its own language: a message written in one appears translated in all the others.
Flag reactions
Members add a flag emoji under a message to translate it into that language, in one click.
Commands and menus
Use /translate for your own text, or right-click a message, Apps then Translate. Only you see the result.
Language detection
The bot recognises the language of each message by itself. Use /detect or the Detect menu to check a text.
Made for real conversations
- Choose how translations are posted: webhook (as if the author wrote it), embed or plain message.
- Discord formatting, mentions, emojis and attachments are kept intact.
- Short or unreliable messages, links only and messages already in the target language are skipped, so the chat stays clean.
- Set a minimum message size per channel and blacklist channels, roles or languages (Premium).
- Automatically delete the translation after a delay, or the original message, if you prefer.
Why servers choose it
Real conversations, in every language, without limits on your members.
Free, with no character limit
Automatic translation, flags and menus cost nothing. Premium raises the number of channels, roles and mirrors and always uses the best translation model.
Your whole server, not one channel
Translate a channel, a whole category, a role or link several channels together. Free servers get up to 30 rules in total, Premium servers 200.
The author keeps their face
Translations can be posted with the name and the avatar of the author (webhook), as a plain message, an embed or in a thread: you choose, per channel.
Flags, menus and DMs
A flag reaction, a right-click on a message, or the user app in DMs and in servers where the bot is not added. Same engine everywhere.
Smart language detection
The bot detects the language of each message, skips messages that are too short, and lets you blacklist roles, channels or languages (Premium).
Your messages are not stored
The text is translated and not kept in the database or in the logs. Anyone can also opt out and the bot will refuse to translate their messages.

Questions about Translation
What is the best free Discord translator bot?
Interaction Bot translates Discord messages for free, with no character quota and no vote: auto-translate a channel, a role or a whole category, or translate on demand. Premium is optional and only raises the limits.
How do I auto-translate a Discord channel?
Open the dashboard, choose Channel translation, pick the channel and the target language. Every new message is translated on its own, with the name and avatar of the author.
Is translation really free?
Yes. There is no character quota, no daily cap and no vote needed. Premium only raises the limits and unlocks a few options.
Why is a message not translated?
Links only, messages already in the target language, very short or unreliable texts and bot messages are skipped on purpose. Run /check-permissions if nothing is translated in a channel.
Which languages are supported?
More than 100. Run /languages to list them.
How does Interaction Bot compare with other Discord translator bots?
Pricing models differ, so check each bot's own page. Translator (about 309,000 servers on top.gg) lists a free trial that ends after 100 translated messages, then a one-time premium pack from $10. iTranslator (about 131,000 servers) is free with a 30,000-character limit that can be reset with its /checkvote command, and it can be installed as a user app. Interaction Bot has no character quota, no daily cap and no vote for translation. Figures come from the public top.gg pages linked below, read on 14 October 2026, and may have changed since.
